I’ve been working with Potala Place, a new development in Everett, WA, for over 8 months. First event photography at their Topping Off Ceremony, then again for a Farmers Roundtable Discussion about being involved in the Market at Potala Place, and again recently for a community open house which doubled as a fundraiser for Housing Hope.
Still event photography is great; the images are usable in so many forms and so very sharable, but they don’t tell the story the same way video does.
Potala Place asked AShapiro Studios to create a film that could help fill in some gaps for the community, for future residents of Potala Place and for farmers that were interested in being involved, all while the fundraising event was going on – and this is what we created.
Enjoy – and Welcome to Potala Place!

In late April 2015, Potala Place, a new development in Everett, WA, gave the community a chance to tour the Market, hear from community leaders and taste offerings from some of the businesses that will be onsite at the Market at Potala Place. The event was also a fundraiser for Housing Hope, a local non-profit that supports low-income housing programs.
