It's a Whiskey Throwdown! As part of Beam Suntory's Seattle Whiskey Week 2017, 4 bartenders split into teams of 2, representing Old and New World styles in a cocktail competition held at Jones Brothers in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood. The Old World team was represented by Sara Rosales (from Radiator Whiskey in Downtown Seattle with Laphroaig Select Single Malt Scotch Whisky) and Derek Jeffries (from The Whisky Bar in Downtown Seattle with Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey). Representing the New World was Andrew Booth (from Lot No. 3 in Bellevue with Makers 46 barrel-finished Bourbon whisky) and Myles Burroughs (from Kings Hardware in Ballard with Knob Creek Rye Whiskey). A good time was had by all, and in the end it was New World that prevailed as Miles took home top prize. Seattle Event Photography @2017 Ari Shapiro - AShapiroStudios.com.
